DAL Holding commissioned steel construction plant in Uzbekistan

The opening ceremony of DAL Holding Investment Company’s investment, DAL Heavy Industries Steel Construction Plant, Uzbekistan was held at Ahangaran City, Tashkent region on 31.08.2018.

The Plant, which is unique with regard to meet high standard metal structure demand in Uzbekistan and the Neighbour Countries, is established in 10.000 m² indoor area with a capacity of 12.000 Tons Per Year.


We are thankful to Turkish Ambassador to Uzbekistan Mr Başar Şen, Ahangaran Governor, Ministry of Economy of Uzbekistan, Ziraatbank Uzbekistan CEO Mr. Ercan Bulut, TİKA Uzbekistan President Mr. Ali İhsan Çağlar, officers of Uzbekistan, TRT, Anadolu Agency, media attendants and to the people of the region for being with us on this very important day; Independence Day of Uzbekistan.

Visit of President Kazakhstan Nursultan NAZARBAYEV

President Nursultan NAZARBAYEV of Kazakhstan has paid an official visit to Turkey on September 12-13, 2018 at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN of Turkey. President ERDOĞAN and President NAZARBAYEV co-chaired the 3rd Meeting of Turkey-Kazakhstan High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council on September 13.

Following the event, “Meeting with leading Turkish Holdings” was held with participation of important guests including but not limited to,

  • Kazakh Foreign Minister, Mr. Kairat ABDRAKHMANOV

  • First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Mr. Askar MAMİN

  • Kazakh Ambassador To Ankara, Mr. Abzal SAPARBEKULY

  • Chariman of Kazakh Invest National Co., Mr. Saparbek TUYAKBAYEV  

During the Meeting, Kazakh officials and Mr. Demircan KOSE on behalf of DAL Holding Investment Co. signed a number of memorandums on investment projects.

In the Aktobe Region, a cement plant project which is necessary to feed ever-growing construction industry in the Region, is on the agenda. Another project on the desk was a gas combined cycle power plant project. The officials agreed on both projects and signed a memorandum on implementation of a 1,5 million tons per year capacity cement plant project and the power plant project with capacity of 200 MWH.

Parties signed a memorandum in order to implement the Project.

In Turkestan Region, the agenda was to implement a high tech Mega Greenhouse Project with 200 Hectares area. DAL Holding Investment Co. and the Turkestan Region officials signed a memorandum in order to cooperate and implement this rewarding agribusiness project.

Dal Technic Machinery has commissioned cement plant in Uzbekistan

DAL Holding Investment Co. has been maintaining strong business ties in Uzbekistan for several years. During these years the Holding commissioned a Cement Plant in Jizzakh, operated lime and stone quarries. Dal Teknik Makina A.Ş. was the top Turkish exporter company to Uzbekistan in 2017. The Holding also made its own investment and built a metal construction plant near Tashkent which has started its operations in the summer 2018.

Meanwhile, commissioning works of the Cement Plant located at Surkhandarya region was underway. The Plant, with a capacity of 1.500.000 tons per year grey cement, was inaugurated in August 2018. The Plant consists of;

  • High capacity raw material preparation and storage units

  • 5.000 ton per day clinker production capacity high technology, "State of Art" process units and equipment

  • 50.000 Tons closed and 80.000 tons open automated storage facilities for clinker

  • 30.000 tons cement storage facilities with automated loading units

  • 8 MW waste heat recovery power generation system

The Plant created 1.200 jobs for the economy and has export potential to Afghanistan and other counties in the region.

DAL Holding Investment Co. attended 3rd Kazakhstan Global Investment Roundtable

Mr. Demircan Köse, the CFO and Advisory Board Member, DAL Holding Investment Co. has shared his experiences and ideas as a speaker in 3rd Kazakhstan Global Investment Roundtable

The Event, led by Askar Mamin, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, has become a trusted platform for an open dialogue between the Government and international investment community.

Senior executives from manufacturing, agro-industry, financial services, chemicals, mining and metallurgy, alternative energy and clean tech, infrastructure, logistics, and digital industries, as well as financiers, private equity investors and those from financial and professional services firms gathered in 8 panel sessions.

Mr. Köse contributed to the panel themed “The Trade and Investment Dividend of Kazakhstan's Multi-Vector Diplomacy” along with important figures such as Beibut Atamkulov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Igor Nechaev, Head of MCC, EuroChem, Ulf Schneider, Founder and CEO, Schneider Group. He emphasized the success of the Kazakhstan in international relations and business attractiveness in a world of increasing tensions, then urged international investors for further collaboration with the Country.

DAL Holding Investment Co. attended Turkey-Kazakhstan Business Forum

Along with many important political and business figures, Turkey's vice president Mr. Fuat Oktay, and Kazakh Prime Minister Mr. Askar Mamin also have attended the Event.

During the Event, recent developments in Kazakh Economy, business opportunities and governement incentives for investments are discussed. Necessary steps to be taken to improve cooperation in commercial and economic relations was another topic.

Mr. Demircan Köse, the CFO and Advisory Board Member of DAL Holding Investment Co. has shared his experiences and ideas as a speaker in the Forum under the session «New Opportunities: Industries, fields of Businesses and Projects». He emphasized that the cultural and historical ties created an immense opportunity to work and grow together in trade and business. He also invited all Turkish businessmen to take the opportunities that the Kazakh Officials provides for investors.

Cement Plant in Uzbekistan

The Surkhandarya Cement Plant, located at the South of Uzbekistan, has a capacity of 2.000.000 tons-per-year grey cement, making it the highest capacity cement plant in Central Asia.

Top notch engineering and technology, applied by engineers of DAL Holding and Investment Co, resulted in a low footprint and efficient production facility. The project was a greenfield and EPC basis project which was undertaken by DAL Holding. The Holding had built the Plant on EPC basis and commissioned it in summer 2018 with a team of 1.250 employees.
